The purpose of this project was to create a mock parking app. Starting off we wanted to list the most important features of the app. Those being a login and sign up to save the user's information for easy access parking, find a location, payment and ability to check the car.
Creating this application has taught us how we can modernize and create an application to simplify and create a better user experience for the average person. We understand how much of a pain point finding a parking spot in a busy city could be resolved by an app that is able to show you locations and price points of each of the places.

We went with a simple green colour to match the parking indications in Toronto while contrasting it with an orange to make the accent colour stand out.
Basic layout of the visuals, while later we did end up changing the main screen with bigger buttons for easier access, the bases of the app was mostly unchanged.
With the final product almost at hand, we decided that instead of Check Parking, Instant Parking and Reserve Parking, we wanted to have Check Parking, Reserve Parking and QR Code option. This was mainly due to the fact that Instant Parking and Reserve Parking had the same function, along with new technology we wanted to use make, as the app's name states, parking easy.
